Prior to opening my own office in 2004, I was a partner with Hermes Sargent Bates, LLP from January 2000 through March 2004.  I began my career as an associate with Cowles & Thompson, P.C. in 1987, becoming a shareholder in January 1995.

I was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and graduated high school from Casady in 1980.  I received a bachelor in science degree in Business Administration from Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia in 1984.  I received my law degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 1987.  I have been licensed to practice law in Texas since November 1987.
